Today is the first day of FALL and in our excitement we have put together some of our favorite fall wedding inspiration ideas and colors to share with you. Don't know about you, but we're pretty pumped about the crisp cool air, football, pumpkin....everything, sweaters, boots, oh my! Read along to see some super fun ideas especially if you know you'll be a fall bride :)
Taupe/Beige color palettes have us feeling all warm and cozy! There's so much you can do when choosing to mix neutrals together that actually end up making a classy and sophisticated statement. We love that brides are also incorporating metallic and sequins into the neutral palette tying in some elegant drama. Not to mention, when using the soft, warm neutrals the bride will absolutely stand out in her white/ivory dress! And we're a big fan of that!
You know you can't go wrong with a deep shape of blue! Navy/Slate/Midnight....call it what you want, both men and women relate to it. Almost any other color will compliment a dark blue nicely so you have a lots of options when choosing a palette like this. We think a groom in blue is sharp! And bridesmaids in blue give a refined, chic look. Don't be afraid to mix different hues and tints of blue for a tranquil and calming affect. Check out the tablescape below!
Lavender done right is simply stunning! We even love it paired with a deep purple for contrast. Our favorite part is that you can even incorporate real lavender into the wedding whether it be in the bouquet, on the cake, or on the table setting. Any shade of purple goes a long way so don't overdo it! Just small pops of the lavender will make a statement so choose where you'll use it wisely.
Come on...how excited do you get when you see a walk up, DIY bar at a wedding?! There's so many directions you can go with this and that's the fun of it! Below are some of our favorite "bar" ideas for fall. Be aware these photos may cause drooling!
Okay, I know you're thinking "pumpkins in fall?" not very unique. BUT check out the impact just painting them white has! We're obsessed! Use on a welcome table, hollow out and use for flowers, or use the adorable tiny ones for place cards. These decorative pumpkins bring in a bit of whimsy and playfulness while still looking very stylish.
Last but not least, an affordable alternative for flowers that's still gorgeous! You could add just a few larger flowers or some lavender, which also smells yummy! Add some (also affordable) baby's breath for a soft touch. Or just tie together with a pretty silk ribbon and call it a day! If you're open to a more unconventional flower option or having an a more rustic wedding this is one to consider!
