Bridal gown trunk show events are a favorite of ours here at Annalise Bridal Boutique and our brides. With good reason, brides can see the expanded line of their favorite designer wedding gowns and save up to 10% at the same time. A win-win, right? We have a couple of bridal gown trunk show events coming up in the next few weeks and wanted to share the answers to the most frequently asked questions to help you be as prepared as possible for your bridal appointment so you can find your dream wedding dress.
Bridal Gown Trunk Show Frequently Asked Questions
Why should I attend a trunk show?
In our shop, we have a collection of wedding dresses from a variety of designers including Anne Barge, Liancarlo, Amy Kuschel and Hayley Paige. A trunk show event allows our brides to see the expanded line of a collection from one of our designers. For brides interested in a particular designer gown, scheduling an appointment during a trunk show is a good idea to have an even greater selection of gowns to choose from as you look for your dream wedding dress.
Can I still try on gowns from other designers during my appointment?
Of course! Just because we are having a trunk show featuring a particular wedding designer doesn’t mean that the rest of our gowns are off limits. You’ll have our full selection of designer wedding gowns available to you during your bridal gown appointment. Our stylists are there to make sure you find your dream wedding gown - no matter the designer. Prior to scheduling your appointment, be sure to share the style and type of dress you’re looking for to ensure your stylist can pull the best selection for you.
Are there any differences to how my appointment will run during a trunk show?
The short answer? No! In our boutique, if you schedule your bridal appointment during one of our trunk show events, your appointment will not be any different than if you were to come in any other time. You’ll still be given 2 full hours to try on gowns to be sure you find THE perfect wedding gown. For more information on getting prepared for shopping for a wedding dress, check out our post on wedding dress shopping etiquette.
Are there any special deals or discounts offered during a trunk show event?
During a trunk show event, brides who select a wedding gown from the featured designer trunk show will receive 10% off the full price of the gown. There are also additional incentives available for each trunk show depending on the designer. Incentives vary by trunk show but often include custom alterations such as added length, raising the neckline, split sizing or credits towards veils and accessories.
Do I still need to schedule an appointment for a trunk show?
Yes! Our boutique still operates by appointment only even during trunk shows so that we can continue to give our brides the best service possible and our undivided attention. Please be respectful of our time as we are of yours. If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so at least 48 hours before your appointment. Last minute cancellations do not allow us enough notice to fill in from a wait list of brides eagerly trying to get an appointment.
